INDIAN TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION 

Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme is the flagship international capacity-building initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, established in 1964. Over the years, more than 200,000 participants from 160+ countries have benefited from ITEC’s world-class training in both civilian and defense sectors.

Every year, ITEC offers nearly 10,000 fully-funded training opportunities across 400+ courses at over 100 leading institutions in India. Participants not only gain cutting-edge knowledge and skills, but also experience India’s vibrant culture and warm hospitality. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, ITEC continued its mission by providing online training for thousands of professionals worldwide.

Today, ITEC provides a wide range of learning formats including eITEC (online training), ITEC-Executive (short-term policy-focused training for senior officials), ITEC-Onsite, and ITEC-Expert, bringing India’s expertise directly to its global partners.
