PROGRAM SUMMER SCHOOL

Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya (UWKS) offers a comprehensive Summer Course Program in 2024, designed to provide students with a rich academic and cultural experience. This program is tailored for international students, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills in various fields while also offering an opportunity to immerse themselves in Indonesian culture.

SUMMER COURSE PROGRAM

01.

ACADEMIC MODULES

The program includes Special Keynote Speakers from India and America for learning Majapahit culture studies. We provide Kewijayakusumaan module so student can easily understand about Indonesian culture especially Majapahit era.

02.

CULTURAL IMMERSION

Participants will engage in activities that promote understanding of Javanese culture, including traditional music, dance, and culinary arts. This aspect of the program is aimed at fostering intercultural competence and appreciation.

03.

LANGUAGE CLASSES

Indonesian language classes (Bahasa Indonesia) are part of the curriculum, helping international students to better engage with the local community and enhance their communication skills.

04.

FIELD TRIPS AND HISTORICAL VISITS:

The program includes organized visits to various cultural sites such as Kampung Tengger at Seruni point, Bromo mountain and historical sites in and around Surabaya. These excursions are intended to provide practical insights and real-world applications of the theoretical knowledge gained during the course.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Students will have the chance to interact with peers from different parts of the world, creating a diverse learning environment and establishing international networks.
